This smoothie recipe might seem a little out of place given the current weather but sometimes you need that little ray of sunshine to get you through the colder months of the year. Though its been exceedingly gloomy in London as of late, I’ve been enjoying a lot more smoothies to help remind me of the many joys of summer. This little jar of tropical goodness was the perfect way to start off a rather rainy morning and really did brighten my mood in an instant. It may be simple but, believe me, it was beautiful. So, this was one recipe I couldn’t possibly keep to myself!
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 passionfruit
- 1/2 cup water or coconut water
Place your banana, raspberries, the flesh of your passion fruit and water/coconut water in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more liquid if you prefer a runnier smoothie. Pour, serve and enjoy.
